Description

Oreo brownies are fudgy and indulgent treats packed with chopped Oreo cookies and semi-sweet chocolate chips. This rich dessert combines the best of brownies and cookies into one irresistible dish. Perfect for parties, holidays, or a simple after-dinner treat, these brownies are easy to make and deliver bold flavors that everyone will love.

Ingredients

– ¾ cup all-purpose flour

– ½ teaspoon salt

– ½ cup unsweetened Dutch-processed cocoa powder

– ¾ cup unsalted butter

– 3 tablespoons oil

– 1½ cups granulated sugar (divided)

– 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

– 2 large eggs plus 1 egg yolk

– ¾ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

– 14 chopped Oreo cookies

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in the oil and 1¼ cups of sugar until combined.
  3. Add the vanilla extract, eggs, and egg yolk. Whisk until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Avoid overmixing to maintain fudginess.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped Oreos. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes until the edges are set and the center is slightly soft. Cool completely before slicing.

Notes

– To enhance flavor, add mix-ins like white chocolate chips or nuts.

– For dietary restrictions, substitute all-purpose flour with gluten-free flour and use dairy-free chocolate.

– Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days or refrigerate for five days. Freeze for longer storage by wrapping tightly in plastic wrap.
