- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
Glaze
- ¾ cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk or cream
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
- Prepare the crisp topping by mixing flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and melted butter. Set aside.
- Toss diced apples with sugar and cinnamon.
- Make the bread batter: whisk dry ingredients; cream butter and sugar; add eggs and vanilla; add milk; combine with dry ingredients.
- Prepare cheesecake filling by mixing cream cheese, sugar, flour, vanilla, and egg until smooth.
- Spread half the bread batter into the loaf pan.
- Add half the apples, then dollop the cheesecake mixture evenly.
- Add remaining batter and remaining apples.
- Sprinkle the crisp topping over the loaf.
- Bake 50–60 minutes, tenting with foil if browning too quickly.
- Cool completely.
- Whisk glaze ingredients and drizzle over the cooled loaf.
